Step back in time to the 1940s
It was a time of America's Greatest Generation, let The Houston Wing’s Veteran's Day Hangar Dance Party take you back to the swingin' sounds of the Big Band in a hangar surrounded by rare and authentic WWII aircraft. This special dance is to honor our Veterans. Come dressed in your best 1940's attire, uniform or come as you are and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Big Band music from the era.
The Jazz Connection will play songs that include numbers like Sentimental Journey, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Boogie Woogie, etc. We have the privilege of having a singer, Maria Thorne, sing for us during dinner. Let the Silver Tones take you back in time to an era when Big Band music was at the top of the charts.
Tickets
- $45 per person
- $80 per couple
- Kids dance for free and eat for $10
- Veterans are admitted and eat for FREE (please show ID at the door). It's our way of saying THANK YOU for your service.
Reserve a private table for 8 people for only $300
A reserved table for eight people at the 2021 Hangar Dance are available on a first come first serve basis. To select your preferred table, first purchase your table and email [email protected] with your name and contact information. We will contact you on a first come basis so that you may make your table selection.

Dance Only tickets ($25 per person) will be available at the door - limited space availability
Check-In - Doors open at 5:30pm
Please check-in at the door with your online tickets to receive your wristband for the food line.
** Refresher/beginner swing dance lesson starts at 7 pm **
Dinner - Served from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
A lasagna dinner will be severed from Lasagna House for those who purchased tickets online.
Alcoholic drinks - BYOB - Bring Your Own Booze - Must be 21 to drink any alcoholic beverages.
Non Alcoholic Drinks are available for purchase as part of our fundraising.

This is a fundraising event for the Houson Wing. The Houston Wing of the Commemorative Air Force is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible to the limits of the law. 100% of the proceeds goes directly towards the “Keeping “Em Flying” fund.
